Dr. DiSogra is an independent audiology consultant with an extensive publication and lecture history in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals as they relate to hearing loss and tinnitus. He was the  recent recipient of the prestigious Dr. Joel Wernick Award from the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. He has served as the Chairperson of the Osborne College of Audiology Advisory Board at Salus University from 2013-2019. He currently serves on the Pharmacological Task Force for the American Academy of Audiology and is a proud US Navy veteran.

  • SESSION 2                          8:30-11:30         Dr. Richard Gans (Equilibrium Throughout the Lifespan: New Horizons for Audiology) 

Dr. Gans received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University with a specialty in audio-vestibular physiology. For the past 25 years, he has emerged as a globally recognized thought leader in the specialization of diagnostic and rehabilitative vestibular science. His research and
contributions have included treatment for BPPV and evaluation of oscillopsia and postural instability. He has authored more than three dozen articles, chapters and textbooks and presented 150 presentations in 25 countries. Dr. Gans served on the AAA Board for 5 years and as the President 2004-05. He is a Life Member of AAA and ASHA, as well as a Research Scientist Member of the American Academies of Neurology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
